Blog Hop... Simony Chiavary 2.5

This is the next BIG THING:

BLOG HOP

It provides an opportunity for authors to show their works to others. I was tagged by @MadLaketweet who also tagged @madisonjohns11 (Thank you kindly) I in-turn, will tag 2 and so on. If you are tagged, just take these questions and run with them…

What is the title of your book? Simony Chiavary 2.5 It is the 3rd installment of a 4 book saga called the “Poet’s Pursuit of Pleasure” series.

Where did the idea of your book come from? Simony Chiavary was a scene stealer in the first 2 books of what was originally supposed to be a trilogy. However as the story developed a life of its own, her story became critical to tell. Because the story of how Simony Chiavary grows up and comes into power, drives everything in the 3rd and final book of the series. (Hustler’z Code) the story of Simony ties book 2 and 3 together. Thus it is called 2.5

What genre does your book fall under? This falls under the genre of “Which-Way” or “Alternate-Endings” These were books of my youth, where you could decide the actions of a character as you read. This book has 5 different endings which are decided by the reader. You can choose Destiny, Fate, Love, Religion or Money. Each option is followed by its own separate story that follows Simony’s life that the reader chose to follow.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency? I do have an agency, but this work will be self-published by RJ Communications in NYC.

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript? The first draft took me about 7 months to complete. Then I took another 4 months to proof read and rewrite. Editing is a totally different animal and requires a different skill set.

Give a one sentence synopsis of your novel? This is the story of how the sexiest, feistiest and smartest female of the “sex for money” underworld, came into power.

What other works would you compare to your story? This story represents what would happen if you mashed the movies “Sin City” “The Thomas Crown Affair” and “Love Jones” all into one film and had it directed by Quentin Tarantino.

Who or what inspired you to write this book? I always wanted to write a tale of a woman who physically embodied the essence of femininity, but was as tough as nails in mind and spirit.

What else might pique the reader’s interest?
Madison Lake’s popular character “Liam Irish” from her books makes a large appearance in this book. Also Madison Lake co-authored an entire chapter dedicated to the fiery affair between Liam and Simony.
